Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Superintendent (APS) has the responsibility for on-site project support to the Project Superintendent and building team including safety protocols, look ahead schedules, and project documentation

 

Job Scope and Essential Functions:

Responsibilities:
  • Exhibits personal behavior that demonstrates commitment to safety
  • Works collaboratively with all building partners including owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assists team with all daily, weekly and monthly diaries and reports
  • Maintain project schedule updates
  • Follow QA/QC site processes
  • Attend owner meetings
  • Assist with obtaining all necessary governmental agency and utility company's approvals, permits and inspections
  • Assist with preparing and tracking completion of punchlist and closeout documents

Qualifications:
  • OSHA 30 Hour
  • CPR/AED/BBP and First Aid training
  • 2+ years field-related duties

  • IOS
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Microsoft Project
  • Procore
  • Bluebeam
  • Drone (FAA certification and flight management)

 

Physical Demands:

is capable of driving short and long distances or flying to project sites across the country, capable of walking project sites that may include climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding, suspended staging and varying heights. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions. Travel to project assignments as necessary (temporary occupancy near assigned project sites).

 

Working Conditions:

95% field office and site environment and 5% corporate office environment
