In a condensed 12 week schedule, Krusinski Construction executed a complete remodel of an existing 475,000 square-foot distribution center in Joliet, IL, at the I-80 and I-55 corridor.
The first major scope of work consisted of tenant improvements such as; major power distribution of a 7,000 amp service, converting over 40 existing mechanical dock levelers to hydraulic systems, adding over 40 dock doors with hydraulic levelers, adding over 500 tons of HVAC systems, installing over 900 parking spots and over 100 semi-trailer parking, major underground plumbing to add sanitary lines, and a Guard House with a semi-truck que to be added at the main entrance.
The second major scope of work consisted a very detailed 30,000 square-foot office space.
