Design-build project for Kraft Heinz to build one of the largest Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) distribution center in North America. The 775,487-SF, state-of-the-art, automated warehouse distribution center is classified as a S-1 storage facility and includes:

  • 18,460 SF of conventional warehouse space
  • 320,137 SF for a 24/7 Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) with 115′ high rack-supported structure
  • 10,634 SF of accessory office space
  • 3,765 SF of breakrooms

Site development includes off-site Gurler Road improvements, deep sanitary extension, gated guardhouse, 95 truck docks, 384 trailer parking stalls, 239 vehicle parking stalls with (4) EV charging stations and a 2-mile rail line spur into the building with access to national railway, served by Union Pacific Railroad. This project is the winner of NAIOP Chicago’s 2023 Industrial Build-to-Suit Development of the Year Award.
