A 70,000-SF existing speculative building was renovated to meet Hormel’s manufacturing needs. This scope included upgrades to all utilities including electrical, natural gas, sanitary service with an internal pre-treatment system and major re-distribution internally with the utilities. Several foundations and pits were constructed for the process operation, boilers and storage tanks. The overhead roof structure was modified to incorporate all process equipment, chillers and exhaust to be located on the roof.
