Following a major fire, Krusinski Construction completed a full restoration of Bay Marine’s 40,000-SF boat storage facility and 9,000-SF office space.

The storage facility renovation included new roof, wall, and boat access door insulation systems to improve R-value, along with upgrades to the sprinkler system, high bay LED lighting and unit heaters. Ten destratification fans were replaced with four 24-foot high-velocity, low-speed fans to enhance air circulation. A new mezzanine was added in the parts storage area, and epoxy flooring was applied throughout the storage and maintenance shop floors.

The office renovation featured a complete interior buildout with a reception area, customer lobby, conference room, private offices, breakroom, ADA-compliant restrooms, server room and all new finishes, millwork, countertops and flooring.

During construction, pre-existing structural deficiencies were discovered. Our Quality Management team collaborated with structural consultants to develop a corrective solution that included additional anchors and reinforcement for masonry walls and piers, ensuring they were properly secured to the existing structural system.
