Krusinski Construction Company Chairman and Founder, Joe Krusinski, Sr. announced his retirement from his day-to-day involvement in the organization, effective January 1, 2024. He will continue to serve as Chairman Emeritus.
Since establishing Krusinski Construction Company in 1973, Joe Krusinski, Sr. has been involved in projects across multiple sectors including office, distribution, food & beverage, healthcare, multi-family and more. His first project was a 102,000-sf multi-tenant speculative office/warehouse facility located in Itasca, Illinois, which still stands today. Krusinski Construction Company continues to expand its national reach to serve its clients, working in more than 20 states.
As part of its succession plan, Krusinski Construction Company has named Jerry Krusinski, Executive Chairman and Jeff Krusinski has been named Chief Executive Officer, in addition to his current role as President.

In his career spanning more than 50 years, Joe has been an officer and director of several trade associations including the Chicago Building Congress and the Chicagoland Construction Safety Council. He was also honored with the Chicago Building Congress Award of Honor and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Richard G. Levy President’s Award. He is a Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame recipient and is an active member of the Entrepreneur & Family Business Council at DePaul University.
